| Luke 17:31 In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to
take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.
| People who are on housetops waiting for Jesus(two thousand years later)
will not come down to pack their suitcases when Jesus gathers them? People
waiting for Him in the fields will never again have to work in the agriculture business ? |
When the Son of Man is revealed to those who are first
hand witnesses, they will immediately feel the great power and the "Glory of God" standing in their midst and
will be (metaphorically) swept away ! They will not feel the need to return to earthly-material 'stuff 'or old ways/rituals/beliefs.

17:33 Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall
preserve it. | Saving your
life means you lose it? Losing your life mean you preserve it? | When the Son of Man is revealed, people will have a choice.
If you want to know and be with Him, you may have to leave behind all the prejudices and misconceptions of the return you were expecting. Only then can your spiritual life(soul) progress.
If you insist on seeking to maintain the status quo of your usual lifestyle and religious rituals, you will lose out on
a fantastic spiritual reality(life.) |
| Luke 17:34 I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and
the other shall be left. 17:35 Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and
the other left. 17:36 Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
| Any man or woman who is sleeping, grinding,
or working in the field is at risk of being taken when Jesus returns? Not anyone in the kitchen or at the shopping mall?
Only three people in the world will get to see the Son of Man? How are
they taken?
Taken where ? Left where ? | Taken = those who are
capable of understanding that the Son of Man has returned, will get to partake in the wonders
of the new age. They will be taken to new heights of spiritual understanding. Those who cannot
or will not acknowledge the Son of Man upon His return, will be left behind (stuck in the same
lower level spiritual understanding) . This is a choice each person has to make = it is not automatic
! |
| Luke17:37 And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is,
thither will the eagles be gathered together. | The
disciples want to know where and when the events of being taken and left will take place. He advises them to look for a
body with eagles gathering together. We should all join a bird watching
club?
| If you want to
know where and when the Son of Man revealed himself, you have to look for evidence- proofs (eagles gathered together.) This requires an open mind and heart. It will also require you to look for historical records which
are not discussed in your usual church-temple-mosque-synagogue. |
