Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the
door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. | Upon His return, Jesus will stand and physically knock on the doors
of 7 billion people and talk with them and eat dinner? This could take a while. He
will not sup(dine) with anyone who does not hear His voice?
| The news of His second coming will eventually be heard by everyone, but it is up to each individual
person to perceive His truth (make the choice to open the door) and to allow The Return of Christ to come into his or
her heart. Dine = share the new gospel. Voice = new Words of God. This
does not necessarily mean you will literally hear His voice with your anatomic ear. |
Revelation 2:17 He
that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden
manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a
new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.
| Only people with ears will get to receive Jesus? Not
the deaf? Not people who lost their ears in an accident or those with birth defects? Jesus
will send his spirit to literally feed us manna and we will all go around carrying white stones with Jesus' new name? | Each person who hears about Jesus' return will have
to overcome their prejudices and preconceptions about His return. If they do, they will get to partake in the manna = new
revelation. A white stone represents the purity of truth of the next Holy Manifestation of God. The
new name=He who brings the newest messages from God. We will have to choose to be called by this
new name = a name other than 'Christians.' |
Revelation 3:12 Him
that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name
of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I
will write upon him my new name. | Jesus is going to turn all of the new believers into a literal stone pillar and we can never leave?
Jesus is going to tattoo all of our bodies with his new name and new
city? The new Jerusalem will come down on a plane from heaven and land
on top of the old Jerusalem? | Pillar
= any person who overcomes the personal tribulation associated with accepting Christ's new name,
God will make them strong and they will not have the stress of going around searching and waiting for Him. A translation of the word Jerusalem is "foundation of peace, or sacred peace". The new Jerusalem
could represent any city in which He chooses to make his temple. It can also represent God's new laws/ the renewed word
of God.

Revelation 3:3 ...
If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.
Luke 12:39 And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known
what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through. Peter(2) 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; Luke 12:40 Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.
| Jesus is really a thief, and wants to break into our homes ? He never wants us to sleep because we have to stay up all night, just in case He comes without calling
first ?
He will only come
to see people with the last name of Goodman ? {He
says we will not know the day or hour, but He does not say we will not know the year, decade or century?} | We
have to keep our eyes and ears open to the future coming of the word of God, because a good thief comes and goes undetected
(at first.) We do not know how this message will first reach us: it may be from speaking with a friend, neighbor or relative,
it may be from reading a random book at the bookstore, it may be from listening to a priest or pastor, it may be from a movie
or the internet or (this website.) Also, the absolute example of "An hour in which we think not," is........THE
PAST !!!! Every one is
looking to the future, "He is coming soon, real soon, any day now." All the signs have come and gone, but we keep
hearing people say tomorrow, tomorrow. No one wants to even contemplate the idea that they may have missed it = the past ??? |
